About Me.

Hi, I’m Ashley Young PLMHP, NCC, a therapist dedicated to helping people find clarity, confidence, and peace within themselves. I believe therapy should feel like a supportive conversation, real, compassionate, and centered around your unique story.

I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, sports-related challenges, and LGBTQ+ experiences, offering a space that’s affirming, down-to-earth, and free of judgment. I’m deeply passionate about supporting the LGBTQ+ community and helping individuals feel seen, accepted, and empowered to live authentically.

My approach is integrative and flexible. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brainspotting, strengths based therapy, and mindfulness-based practices to help clients process what’s beneath the surface, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

As a former college athlete, I understand the pressures of performance, motivation, and identity that can come with high expectations. That experience, combined with my clinical training, helps me connect with clients who are working to find balance between who they are and who they want to be.

Outside of sessions, I value authenticity, humor, and connection, all of which I bring into the therapy space to make it feel safe, supportive, and genuinely human.
